High-Power Electric Vehicle Battery Packs

Bisida's 60V and 72V BMS models can support high-power electric vehicle battery packs. These BMS units offer 10 protection functions and are compatible with both lithium-ion and LiFePO4 battery packs.

Multi-Function Protection

Bisida's BMS provides a comprehensive range of protection features, including overcharge protection, overdischarge protection, overcurrent protection, short-circuit protection, temperature protection, and voltage balancing (passive balance).

Operating Temperature Range

Bisida's BMS supports charging and discharging of (3.7V) lithium-ion batteries within the voltage range of 2.65V to 4.25V, with low-temperature protection down to -20°C and high-temperature protection up to 70°C. Specific parameter details may vary for different voltage and current configurations, so it is recommended to confirm the accurate data with the seller.

Preparation Before Installation

Before installing the BMS protective board, it is crucial to ensure that the voltage, capacity, and internal resistance of the battery pack are properly matched. The voltage difference between battery sections should not exceed 0.05V, the internal resistance difference should not exceed 5mΩ, and the capacity difference should be less than 30mAh. Failure to meet these requirements may result in the battery pack being unable to charge properly.

Wiring Method

The wiring methods for the common ports of the Bisida BMS are as follows: B- connection to the battery pack negative, C- connection to the charging negative/output negative. All the positive electrodes are connected to the total positive pole from the battery pack.
